At the Riverside Theatre Shakespeare Festival
What good would the summer be without a picnic in the grass? Starting two hours before each performance, the Riverside Festival Stage box office is open to sell concessions such as wraps, brownies, cookies, fresh fruit, chips and beverages provided by New Pioneer Co-op. Come early and enjoy your picnic dinner while watching select entertainment on the lawn to the south of the theatre (to be announced). Please be advised, however, that food and drinks are not allowed in the theatre, so leave time to finish your picnic before curtain.
Quality beers and wines will be available for purchase at the Riverside Theatre Shakespeare Festival. Please note that as in past years, possession or consumption of alcohol is illegal on city property except where a special license has been granted, as it has been to Riverside Theatre. As a licensee, Riverside Theatre will be required to prohibit the possession or consumption of any alcohol not sold by the theatre on the Festival Stage grounds. The Festival Stage grounds area where alcohol will be permitted will be clearly marked with a rope fence.
