Today meet Mallory Fran deForest and Eva Balistrieri

Mallory Fran deForest

Portia’s Servingwoman/Ensemble in The Merchant of Venice

Mallory Fran deForest is junior at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA, where she is currently working on a BA in Theatre and Religion. While this is her first time working at Riverside she has appeared in productions of Sylvia, Company, Waiting for Godot, and Defying Gravity at Cornell. She has also studied ballet for 11 years at the Cape Cod School of Ballet.

Fun fact about Mallory: I have lived in every part of the continental United States except the Pacific Northwest.

Hobbies: Collecting DVDs (my collection numbers 440 movies and television shows) 

 

Eva Balistrieri

Celia in As You Like It and Jessica in The Merchant of Venice

Eva Balistrieri is delighted to be making her Riverside debut! She has worked for many years with Milwaukee Repertory Theater and just completed their nine-month acting internship. Favorite Rep credits include: Mayella Ewell in To Kill a Mockingbird, Kitty Bennet/Georgina Darcy in Pride and Prejudice, Betty Parris in The Crucible. She also spent two summers with Great River Shakespeare Festival in Minnesota. Training and Education: B.A. Theatre – University of Wisconsin Parkside and the Accademia dell’Arte in Tuscany, Italy.

Hometown:  Oconomowoc, WI

Fun fact about Eva: Ran the Chicago Marathon last October

Hobbies: Running, traveling, cooking, reading, writing
