Job Description
The “face” of Riverside Theatre, the Patron Services Manager is often the first and most important contact for all patrons. The PSM maintains relationships, answers questions, and provides any assistance necessary during the ticket sales process to ensure a positive experience at the theatre.
The Patron Services Manager position is 25-30 hours/week and year-round. Benefits include health, Paid Time Off, paid holidays and more. Primary Responsibilities Include:
Processing Ticket Sales received by phone, mail, fax, & onlineEntering all sales into Wintix: tickets, subscriptions, donations, classes, fundraisers, in-kind donations, misc.
Purchasing ticket stock & other Box Office & front of house supplies
Maintaining the Wintix records: season calendar, mailing list; performing backups
Coordinating & maintaining Volunteer Usher Group
Coordinating and performing necessary setup with online ticket sales agent (Red Truck Tickets)
Purchasing & marketing all concessions & merchandise
Producing various reports on a daily, monthly, & show by show basis
Ensuring the lobby, restrooms, & auditorium are clean & welcoming for patrons; supervising cleaning assistant
Working with the Marketing Director on customer service & point-of-contact marketing strategies
Hiring & training Box Office work-study assistant
Hiring & training summer staff in concessions & Box Office
Setting up and running Box Office in alternate locations for summer plays, Diamonds or Denim & other offsite events
Working closely with the Business Manger to create and maintain the Front of House Budget
Devising strategies for marketing to groups and coordinating group sales
Computer/Software Skills
Comfortable creating and working with Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Reception & Administrative/ Clerical assistance supporting Theatre Staff during Box Office Hours
Key & Script check-out
Helping to Prepare in-house mailings
Creating/ Maintaining audition schedules & class enrollments
Taking phone messages
Making photocopies
