Volunteer Development Intern (Fall 2011-Feb/March 2012)
Primary duties include assisting the development director with preparations for Riverside Theatre's annual fundraising event, Diamonds or Denim (held in February, 2012). Responsibilities include maintaining master spreadsheets of event donations, developing donor recognition letters, creating event signage, assisting with auction item solicitations and helping with post-event analysis and follow-up. Other assistance needed with fall annual campaign mailing and donor appreciation events. A minimum commitment of 3 hours/week is necessary.
Hours are flexible but should be available weekdays during office hours (9:00 a.m.-5 p.m.).

Volunteer Marketing Intern
Tasks would include but not limited to: distributing promotional materials and posters to local businesses, prepping small bulk mailings before they are taken to the post office (labeling postcards, stuffing envelopes), researching groups and organizations to target for group rate promotions, updating the theatre's flickr account, imputing event information into local online calendars, and creating spreadsheets for various projects.
This volunteer internship position is flexible, approximately 5 hours per week during the school year and/or summer.

Volunteer Educational Tour Coordination
Fall/Winter, unpaid, approximately 30-45 hours. Primary duties include scheduling of the annual Will Power area school tour (an outreach program of the Riverside Theatre Shakespeare Festival) and coordinating the Will Power Poetry (junior high) and Sonnet (high school) contest.
Volunteer Costume Shop Assistant
Completely flexible, 5-10 hours/month. Organizing and maintaining costume stock - including sizing, sorting, occasional laundering, restocking after productions.
