Riverside Theatre is excited to announce that we're launching our first podcast! Hosted by acclaimed Iowa City playwright and performer Megan Gogerty, "Riverside Roundtable" features a funny, lighthearted chat with the cast and crew of upcoming Riverside Theatre productions. Our first episode focuses on playwright William McCauley's world premiere of "Line of Descent," opening Friday, Jan. 29.
This episode features director Sam Osheroff and three members of the cast: John Cameron, Kristy Hartsgrove Mooers and Rian Jairell. Learn why John was nervous coming into this show; how Sam approaches directing a fast-paced comedic farce "with lots of doors"; and why Megan insists on comparing absolutely everything to "Gossip Girl."
We're new to this podcasting thing, so we welcome opinions and insights from all you veteran podcasters out there about what you'd like to hear more of, and what areas we can improve as we keep bringing you episodes. And check out "Line of Descent," performing Jan. 29 through Feb. 21.
